Pokemon HOME Refresh, Episode 16. from livestream 2026/05/19

Welcome to episode 16 of my Pokemon HOME Refresh Series. In this episode we jumped into PLA for the first time. we picked our starter, kicked Volo's ass for the first time (hate that guy) and started progressing some of the story.

Rules - these are rules that i am imposing upon myself to make this a little more fun and challenging, but also to make my home feel as nice as possible
Each pokemon should come from as early of a game as possible (with Exceptions for "giving every game a chance" e.g. shiny birds from Lets Go) . For example Hisuian Typhlosion has come from the gen2 games. Galarian Weezing, or GMax Venusaur have come from the gen1 games, etc.
Shiny pokemon, where possible, will be caught in any remakes of games, for gen 1 they will be caught in FR and LG, with legendaries being from Let’s Go (Because I felt like it)
All genders, forms and other variants of all pokemon that can be obtained, will be (spiky eared pichu cannot be transferred to HOME, therefore does not count, for example)
All base pokemon will be caught in poke balls, while all shiny pokemon will be caught in premier balls. Where possible, shiny alpha pokemon will be caught in gigaton balls in PL:A, and in luxury balls in PL:Z.
