AC Ductwork, Electrical Panel Upgrade & Repipe Complete | The Concourse Ep 4 of 12

Episode 4 of "Rehabbing The Concourse," a 12-episode mini-series documenting a full house rehab in Southern California over 45 days.

Day 10 brings major mechanical progress. The AC ductwork is being run throughout the house, the new electrical panel has been installed, and the full copper and PEX repipe is complete — all with permits pulled from the county. Remo walks through the creative solutions needed to get air conditioning into every room of this multi-level property, including building soffits to route ductwork from the upstairs to the downstairs bedroom.

The bathroom plumbing is fully repiped with PEX and copper, ready for inspection. Protective nail plates are installed wherever pipes or cables run close to the surface. The old massive AC unit has been removed from the attic (a nerve-wracking job), and the team is working to get Edison to restore power to the building — a process complicated by the fire history.
