Cam And Lifter DEBACLE! Are They All Defective? Here's What You Need To Know.

Last week I had a failed cam shaft/lifter in the big block Chevy sitting in my 1966 Biscayne. I installed a Comp Cams Thumpr about a month ago. After break in, I noticed a noisy lifter. Upon further diagnosis, a lifter had failed and took the cam shaft out with it.

I contacted the cam shaft manufacturer as well as the dealer I ordered the parts through. I had some mixed results but we have a plan to get the car back up and running!
