BENCH Design Awards 2025 Finalist | André Plaus

Andre Plaus is a graduating student from iAcademy. His curiosity about using varied materials and textures led him to discover his ability to knit with a vintage machine he found at a surplus store. By creating his own textiles, Andre envisioned a knitwear collection inspired by childhood nostalgia. The public has yet to see his interpretation of the 80s retrofuturism movement and cartoons from the late 90s to early 2000s.
