Log Jam Payette River

This was a massive log jam in the Payette River past Banks Idaho on the way to Garden Valley Idaho. This log jam became a major hazard to rafters and kayakers and they were unable to get it freed up. We saw this on the news and called the fire chief and offered to help. We put a plan together and got this handled. We had so much help from the Garden Valley Fire Department, the Garden Valley Police Department, Idaho Power, Idaho Department of Transportation and the local rafters and kayakers rescue team. It was truly a team effort and we’re glad to get this done to make the River safe.
