Marketing is the pre-selling stage of closing any sale. It allows you to pre-qualify people and also talk to the masses about your business.

Sales on the other hand is more of a 1-on-1 interaction that happens with the people that you market to and come into an agreement with you to either purchase your product or take part in your services.

When you understand the differences between sales vs. marketing and how these two processes work with one another, you will have more confidence in determining your daily activities and begin to move in a positive direction.
