Here is a copy and paste of what is typed in the video:
Objective: Remove write protection from SD Card or Flash Drive and format
Before you begin: Make sure your desired card or drive is already connected; also backup your data ahead of time to avoid any costly mistakes.
1. Go to the cmd screen by hitting your “windows key + r”
a. Type in “cmd” and hit “enter”
2. In the cmd window type:
a. “diskpart” (click yes when prompted, it may take a little while to continue)
b. “list disk”
c. “select disk” _(1, 2, 3 or whatever it is; you will know which one it is based on it’s size eg 64gb for example or whatever size your card or drive is)
d. “list volume”
e. “select volume” ¬_ (make sure you pick the right drive number)
f. “ff:”
g. “attr disk clear readonly”
h. “attr volume clear readonly”
i. Some may get the following error: “ virtual disk service error: the operation is not supported on removable media” or something like that. I got that but this still works.
i. “detail disk”
j. “detail volume”
k. “exit”
3. Safely remove your card
4. Reconnect
5. It should work like before. I recommend reformatting with default settings which you should be able to do now. Just remember to backup your data first or it will be lost!
