Lehi community rallies around 14-year-old critically injured in auto-pedestrian crash

LEHI, Utah (KUTV) — Residents are rallying around the family of the 14-year-old girl who was hit by a car leaving a church dance.

On Monday night, hundreds of people gathered at the Willowcreek Middle School for a candlelight vigil. Organizers of the event set up tables filled with photographs of Jenna Sharp and her family, and stations where people could grab candles and write notes on heart-shaped papers.

"She loved hearts. So, we want to fill her room with hearts. We want to fill her life with hearts and all these messages that will be sent to her," said Holly Voisin, who helped organize the event.
