Programming compare instructions in Siemens TIA Portal V16. In this video, we are going to investigate comparator operations or instructions. Especially, instructions such as equal, not equal, greater or equal, less or equal, greater than, less than, in range, out range. To help you to better understand the application of these instructions, in the end, I have designed a very interesting exercise using Factory IO software which is a traffic light controller system. As usual TIA virtual PLC is used to execute the PLC control program and the Factory IO is used to emulate the stoplights.
