MG TF review 001

MG TF review.thinking of getting MG,have a look at my review,it may give you some idea.the MGF/TF are cracking British mid-engine sports cars.the TF has a harder ride than the earlier F due to having different suspension.The dreaded HGF (head gasket failure) shouldn't put you off buying an MG.It is over stated and most have had the head gasket changed.If the gasket does go its not a massive issue as there is a great mobile service (look up Russel Walsh,there are other mobile mechanics)as it will cost around £300 to have this fixed.(from what I have been told)tyres have been spoken about a lot with toyos and falken coming out as the tyres that give best performance.running costs are good with plenty of parts available at good prices and good fuel consumption at around 40 mpg.Insurance group is 26 but as a second car on classic insurance and limited mileage can be as low as £100 pa.cheaper to buy than an MX 5 and better looking.when BMW bought rover they did develop the car further because it competes with their Z3 and they knew that the MG was a better car,which it is.These cars are future classics and the prices will start to go up soon.If you bought one today,used it for a year and then sold it,I believe you would get your money back.so will you buy one?
