How to strengthen the plantar fascia
A simple exercise to strengthen the plantar fascia is to do a standard heel raise off a step, but with a rolled up towel under your toes. This bends the toes up, pre-tensioning the plantar fascia, and enables yout strengthen the plantar fascia and the calf at the same time. Aim to do up to 3 sets of 15 repetititions of this exercise. If you have heel pain and it is not getting better, it is best to see a Podiatrist for an accurate diagnosis.
