Fibrous Materials Breakout Session hosted by Dr. Oliver Rimmel and Dr. Lilli Burger at the GeoDict Innovation Conference 2025

Fiber Length Determination: We showcase the application of FiberFind AI for the precise determination of fiber length in injection-molded glass fiber reinforced composites, with validation against experimental data. The methodology and accuracy of fiber analysis, including orientation and diameter measurements, are detailed.
3D Reconstruction from 2D Data: The session addresses the challenge of limited data availability by presenting a workflow for generating 3D models of nanofiber media from 2D SEM images. This section illustrates the process of extracting essential parameters and constructing a representative 3D digital twin.
