Can you Figure Skate in Freestyle Inline Skates???

In this video, I take a look at using freestyle inline skates to practice figure skating in! Specialist off ice figure skates are in high demand, they are ofter very hard to get your hands on them, and in some cases, they are overpricing inferior products to capitalise on the sudden increase in demand.

Due to this, I decided to see if I could skate in regular freestyle inline skates from a leading brand in the inline skate game. In this video, I am using Hardcore Evo Skates by Powerslide. The frame is a Trinity Nexus frame. These are Tri-Skates, but I have set them in the heavy rocker setting.

The wheels are 90mm Undercover Outdoor Wheels. They have a hardness rating of 90A.....I think! It's worn off the wheels now, so I can't be 100% sure, but they are about as hard as you can get!

Figure skating in these is quite similar to figure skating in hockey skates.....that said, I actually found there was a LOT I could do in them, and had a great time in them. I would say that depending on what you would like to learn on the ice, these skates might be what you are looking for! A lot of figure skating techniques transferred across very easily.
