Biblical Friendship Prompts:
1. Think about a few friendships that have significantly impacted you. Take the time and either write a note thanking that person or better yet, book a time for some face to face connection and speak to them directly and clearly about how their friendship has ministered and served you.

2. Block off 11 AM - 1 PM on Sunday May 24 for our family lunch
gathering, ‘Sunday Funday’. Intentionally invite or sit with
someone you don’t know well. Get to know more about their life and their journey. Some prompts for meaningful conversation (just some ideas to get you rolling):
-If you had an ideal day what would that look like?
-What situation in 2025 felt overwhelming to you? What did you do?
-What’s one childhood memory that you makes you smile?
-Where did God do something deep in your life this last year?
-When did you last feel content? What was happening, who were you with?
-Who did you laugh with the most in 2025? What did you laugh about?

3.Find someone at SCC that you don’t know well (or at all) and invite them to coffee. Ask them curious questions about their life.

4. If your lifegroup normally does the sermon discussion questions, then use these homework assignments as a spring board for conversation. What did people experience? What worked, what didn’t?
