FIRST HIKE WITH A NEWBORN /// MOUNT MAUNGANUI

For this short travel video we decided to take our newborn daughter Emma for her very first hike around Mount Maunganui. While hiking to the top of Mount Maunganui is one of the most popular things to do on the North Island of New Zealand, walking around the Mount is a less-known but still amazing experience!

To do hikes and walks with kids could be difficult if you don't choose the track wisely. Going around Mount Maunganui is a pleasant experience for the whole family. There are no steep hills to climb, plenty of benches to have rest and so many picturesque views to enjoy! If you are travelling with a newborn or and infant, we suggest taking a sling rather than a stroller as we found it more convenient for this track.
