Where does the stereotype of the mad scientist come from? Professor Alice Roberts, academic and broadcaster, tracks the history of the scientists in the public mind, discussing what can learn from these stories today.
The Huxley Summit took place on 8 November 2016 at BAFTA in London on the theme of ‘trust in the 21st century’. The Summit was produced by the British Science Association, and provided leaders both within and beyond science, to question, debate and agree radical new ways to build trust in science and technology to advance society.
