It’s not every day you get to test drive a luxury SUV with your 15-year-old granddaughter as your co-host but that’s exactly what I did with Sofia, fresh off a summer road trip with her family. Sporting her “New York” shirt and carrying stories of cross-country memories with her two younger sisters and parents, Sofia jumped into the driver’s seat… of commentary, that is.

Together, we took on the 2025 Lexus TX 350 AWD – F SPORT, a spacious, powerful SUV designed for families on the move and teens with future driver's licenses in sight. She can't wait !!!!

Sofia’s family drives 3,000 miles each way every summer — from Arizona to Rochester, through New York City, and into the Hamptons. They rent a van each time. After spending time in the Lexus TX350 F Sport she had one word: “Perfect.”

While Lexus aims to appeal to younger drivers, there’s something special about teaching those drivers how to spot what makes a vehicle stand out. That’s where I come in. Sofia and I didn’t just talk specs we talked sound system ( Taylor Swift over and over), charging ports, storage, easy to put down and up the third row. Of course cupholders and where to put her chips.

We used this review as a chance to bond — between grandma and granddaughter, between generations of road trippers, and between a brand and its future buyers.
