LG Velvet Review: One Thing Wrong [4K]

- Velvet is a very odd phone. It's a pretty good package with solid build. Good screen, sharp camera, dual stereo speakers, and battery enough for the entire day. Pretty common choice of specs, too. Snapdragon 765, 48MP camera, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 4300mAh battery.
But here's the catch. That's only the case for $450-$500 devices.

This midranger sells for a flagship price of $750 but just why? It's not like LG doesn't know what a flagship looks like. They've just built the V60 ThinQ!

So I have a theory. The engineers were building a good midranger for the $500 goal, but suddenly the management decided they want to sell it for $750. So they sprinkle a few premium features like the stereo speakers and wireless charging.

Is it a good phone? Yes. Should you buy it? No, not for that price.

Many consider the phone as flagship lacking too many features, but I think it's more like a good midrange phone with one wrong thing, the price tag.
