Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at Delhi's AIIMS hospital on 1 March. Sister P Niveda, who is from Puducherry, administered Bharat Biotech's Covid vaccine, Covaxin, to the PM who became the first beneficiary in the second phase of the nationwide vaccination against Covid-19 that started Monday. In a tweet, PM Modi also appealed to all those eligible to take the vaccine and make India Covid-free.
