Hike around Graz (Austria) : Hike at Home

I have seen a young deer, but I had only a set objective on my camera.
it's Sunday afternoon and in October, the days are short. So I don't have the time to go somewhere far for a hike and the closest place is where i am Graz, so i will go for a walk in the local forest. The weather is great so let's go

i'm going parallel to the main road in the forest

Today is just a lazy Sunday so I just thought that I would just go out from the house in the surrounding forest and have a walk. Let's see

Graz is surrounded by forests and it's easy to find some path to walk to see mild mountains or to see Graz from the mountains

I'm coming out from the forest to a big clearance. The autumn painted beautiful colors, maybe this is the most colorful season. I'm about eight kilometres away from home already

Sometimes it's so easy to forget what we have near, and we are chasing far mountains, and we don't know what is around us at home.
This was 16 kms and it took about four hours, spent outside in clean air with beautiful colors around See you next time!
