As visa restrictions tighten for the Chinese who hope to study in America, China’s Ministry of Education warned Chinese students and scholars to quote “evaluate their options before studying abroad” and to beware of safety risks. Is the increased scrutiny linked to the ongoing trade tensions? How might the trend impact both sides?
