KAAN P1 Official Reveal: New Sensors and F-22 Style Stealth Tail Design

Official footage released by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) on X confirms that the KAAN program is rapidly evolving from a technology demonstrator into a full-fledged operational weapon system.

In this video, we analyze the latest P1 prototype, which now features integrated advanced sensor suites from Aselsan: the KARAT IRST (Infrared Search and Track) and the TOYGUN EOTS (Electro-Optical Targeting System). These sensors allow the KAAN to detect and track targets from long distances without emitting detectable radar signals.

- A wider central fuselage to increase internal volume for mission avionics and fuel.
