How to Cover a Cabinet with Tolex or Leatherette.....Part 1

So far, we have built a Champ 5F1 amp chassis from scrap parts and then constructed a finger-jointed pine cabinet to enclose it.....now, we will cover the cabinet with Tolex (leatherette). In this video, we will discuss the tools, glues, materials, and techniques necessary to apply a professional-grade covering to our amp cabinet, and we will cover the back door utilizing mitered corners and radiating cuts to conform to inside-radius curvatures. All techniques are demonstrated, step-by-step, with lots of tips to make the job easier and better.
