Crushed by Now: Rare, Toyota Corona 2000 GT Coupé - 1985 (ST162)

I was just coming back from a car-show when I saw this super-rare, mid 80's Corona coupe parked across the road. I waited around to meet its owner and chatted about his car. He said the car would soon be off to get crushed. (Sad face.)

The shape of the car should look familiar. Put some pop-up headlights on it and you've got an ST162 Toyota Celica Coupe. Apparently, that particular Celica was never sold in Japan. Instead, the front & rear of the car was changed to match it to the Corona line-up.
