Rod Stewart fans thought Plymouth gig ending was a 'wind up' as video emerges

A video has emerged showing the 'sudden' end to Rod Stewart's 'fantastic' gig at Plymouth's Home Park on Saturday night, where he blames the 'curfew' and 'the Lord Mayor' - who says he couldn't even get his hands on a ticket for the event, let alone shut it down.

Rod opened his set in Plymouth with Addicted to Love and ended it with Da Ya Think I'm Sexy but many fans were expecting an encore of Sailing, one of his most famous hits, and especially 'poignant' in the Naval city.

But in a video, shared with PlymouthLive, it appears Rod ended his set early before his rendition of Sailing after a man dressed in black appears on stage - halfway through Da Ya Think I'm Sexy - and seems to remind him of the time
