14 Harrowing Tragic Backstories of Nightbreed Monsters - Clive Barker's Misunderstood Masterpiece!

Most people know Clive Barker for his remarkable work on Hellraiser, but the famed horror writer and director has also been instrumental in shaping some lesser-known classics. Nightbreed, which was released in 1990, is a fine example of his brilliance with dark horror-fantasy works, and it was only his second film as a director. However, the film tanked at the box office, partly because of poor marketing and partly due to the changes made by the studio.
Over the years, Nightbreed has developed a cult following, with fans enticed by the novel concept of a story where the audience is rooting for the monsters. The humans are the actual monsters, and the film manages to put across this powerful statement through the delightful story. The plot revolves around Boone, who often dreams of a city named Midian where there exist monsters. He seeks therapy, and his therapist, Dr. Philip Decker, who is secretly a serial killer, convinces Boone that he is the actual killer. He soon learns that the monsters are real, and he has been framed in the worst way possible by Decker. There are some monstrous and beautiful creatures in this movie, and while they are humane and even gentle, they are still scary and dangerous. In this video, we have tried to explore the back-stories of the unforgettable Nightbreed monsters.
