Innocent Elephant injured from a mouth bomb found a group of savior's to treat the injury

This is another sad story of a wild elephant who has become an unfortunate victim of a jaw exploder also known as 'jaw bombs.'
Some villagers found him collapsed in the forest close to the village and alerted the wildlife office in the area.
The officers arrived and saw the elephant helplessly lying low, looking so frail. Closer inspections revealed, it's mouth was dropping down and was drooling of saliva. And, it was covered by flies, sucking up the secretions. How uncomfortable must he be feeling?
This elephant would have been here like this for days. If not seen by the villagers, he would have possibly died here in a lot of pain.
One officer examines the elephant's eye to determine the elephant's condition as he looks so inactive and weak.
They start the treatment process by preparing antibiotics, multivitamins and painkillers, in doses suitable for this elephant's body weight.
The vets decide to administer about 10 bottles of saline intravenously, at the end of this treatment, to replenish fluids and revive him from deteriorating energy.
They start injecting antibiotics, multivitamins and painkillers.
These antibiotics will prevent spreading of bacteria and kill them.
Multivitamins will provide support for energy levels and, the painkillers will deliver an anesthetic close to particular nerves in the brain interrupting nerve signals that register pain.
These medicines will help the wounds heal faster and the elephant will regain lost energy soon.
This elephant's jaw doesn't seem to be broken fully. Still, it cannot be repaired. Only controlling pain and prevention of infection is possible. Thankfully, the elephant can survive using the other jaw. He will have to get used to it.
When people approach the elephant, he thinks that people have come to cause him trouble. He struggles to be defensive but he is not energetic enough to get up.
A spray is applied to the elephant's mouth and the injection site. This will help the wounds heal from the outside.
Now, 'saline' comes into action!
After a thorough cleaning of the elephant's ear, an IV line is placed to transport the saline to the elephant's bloodstream. The ear vein is the most suitable for this task, because it is the most readily accessible site for intravenous injection in animals.
The elephant doesn't seem to be uncomfortable with the ongoing treatment.
And, the veterinarians seem to be so gentle with the elephant and are very sensitive to his emotional state.

Elephants are very intelligent animals. Surely he knows, these people are here to help him and not to harm.

The treatment is working pretty fast! The elephant's weakness is gradually diminishing and he is now showing movement of the trunk and is struggling to stand up. But he will have to hold on a little more for that.

Before heading to the final stage of treatment, the vets are mixing in glucose to the saline bottle to give some additional boost of energy.

A percentage of glucose is usually added into an IV, to replace lost fluids and provide carbohydrates to the body.

The blood carries glucose to all the body cells, to use for energy.

When an animal is finding it difficult to drink or, if additional fluids are needed, this treatment is appropriate.

Throughout the saline treatment, an officer needs to hold the elephant's ear to prevent it from flapping. Don't you think It's a strenuous job these people are doing?

The saline treatment is coming to an end.

This was a four hour treatment that was completed successfully!!

The wildlife team is now trying to get the elephant to stand.
They fail at their first attempt.
They keep trying. On the third attempt they succeed. The elephant stands up and moves out from the place he was at.

This elephant needs further treatment to fight the infection. The officers will trace him for that.
