How to Deploy ASP.NET Core 5 on LINUX | The Easy Way

This is a complete tutorial for creating and deploying .NET Core 5 application on Linux.

We’ll cover these steps:
- Create brand new .NET Core 5 App
- Go through configuration of build/publish steps
- Publish to local folder and also go over Publishing single file executable, which is a new feature in .NET 5
- Then go over using ZoomAdmin to create our .NET Core app and publish to our Linux server as docker container app.
- We will also use ZoomAdmin to generate and apply SSL/TLS Let’s Encrypt Security certificate to our new app.
- Then, we’ll use FileZilla to delete the default app ZoomAdmin creates and copy over our new .NET 5 app
- Finally, we’ll go over the configuration changes needed in ZoomAdmin for .NET 5 to work, and permission changes for single-file .net app deployment.
