Update on Ethan [STORY BELOW]

Ethan went through an extremely difficult and complicated surgery last night as doctors fought to save his life. During the operation, surgeons had to remove the air trapped around his lungs, carefully place his displaced internal organs back where they belonged, and repair his completely torn diaphragm after the devastating trauma he suffered.

Right now, Ethan remains in the ICU under extremely close monitoring. He is receiving oxygen support, IV fluids around the clock, and is resting on a heating pad to help regulate his fragile body temperature as he recovers from this massive procedure. The next 48 hours are absolutely critical for him.

As many of you know, Ethan’s injuries were far more severe than we originally feared. His torn diaphragm caused his internal organs to shift dangerously, placing immense pressure on his lungs and heart and making every breath a struggle. On top of all of that, he is also battling a broken leg. This sweet boy has been through unimaginable pain, yet he is still fighting with everything he has.

Please continue praying for Ethan and keeping him in your thoughts. We are desperately hoping his tiny body can make it through these next critical days safely. At the same time, donations are still urgently needed. Ethan’s ICU stay, emergency surgery, diagnostics, oxygen support, medications, and ongoing medical care have become incredibly expensive, and his fight is far from over.
