Today I am playing Yakuza 3 Remastered for the first time. I am slowly making my way through all of the mainline Yakuza games. Check my playlists to see the previous playthroughs. The Yakuza 3 story starts in February 2007, shortly after the events of Yakuza 2, with Kiryu and Haruka in a cemetery, where most of their friends and family are buried. Hoping to leave his past behind for good, Kazuma plans to take over the orphanage in Okinawa, but first pays a visit to his old rival, Goro Majima, who has since left the yakuza to become a legitimate businessman. Concerned that Daigo Dojima, the man he picked to become Sixth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, is too inexperienced, Kiryu persuades Majima to rejoin the clan as a "patriarch", or gang boss.
