Hollywood remembers Repubic Pictures. Founded in 1935, Republic's releases were considered 2nd feature movies , even tough they often had real stars like John Wayne in them. Republic also was home the movies of Gene Autrey, Roy Rogers & Dale Evans, & many more western stars. Their focus was on westerns, B movies, Saturday afternoon fare like Captain Marvel & Commando Cody. Present at this great event were Anne Jeffreys, Ben Cooper, Dick Jones, Fay McKenzie, Marjorie Lord, Mary Carlisle (looing beautiful at99) and Peggy Stewart.
