Eagle Creek Fire - Sept. 6, 2017

I woke up around midnight. The house was hot and reeked of smoke. Then I looked across the river...

After packing up the cat, the guitars, and a few other things, I had just enough time to set up a camera before bugging out. I left the camera running all night and was glad to find it -- and the house -- still standing the next day. This is one hour of that footage, in real time (not time-lapsed), from 1-2AM. If you turn up the audio a bit, you'll hear the wind, the distant roar of the fire, trains going by, dogs barking.
