Son of Beast (2006 Off-Ride Footage) - Kings Island Theme Park Ohio USA

Son of Beast was an infamous looping giant wooden roller coaster that operated at Kings Island in Ohio, USA from 2000 to 2009. It was famous for featuring a vertical loop, however the sheer size of the roller coaster (218ft tall) made it a ride for only the bravest enthusiast. At the end of 2006 the vertical loop was removed, however based on my ride the vertical loop was the only smooth part of the ride. It closed after a number of issues that led to injury claims, and after being SBNO for three years it was eventually demolished in 2012.
