csc249 m5lab - password hashing

This lab has three steps.
1. Create basic program that checks user's username and password against those stored in memory.
2. Don't store password in cleartext; instead store a hash of the password.
3. Add a salt to the hash process for additional security.

The source for part 1 is provided -- for the rest you'll need to follow along with my changes.
