Everyone starting out doing private investigator work wants to know how much they should charge for private investigation services like skip tracing, surveillance, process serving and background checks.

So you're a really good investigator. Maybe you've even got your private investigator license and you're ready to open up a detective agency. So the next question is, how much should you charge?

My number one piece of advice for you is: Don't be the low-price-guy!
