Language is subject to interpretation:
If two men sat down and read the same passage in the bible, depending on their personal understanding or back round both may relate differently. "Jesus meant this, Job meant that" so you have the Catholic, The Seventh Day Adventist, The Baptist, etc...
When a man says "let us sit and reason together" he means that you should see things his way and so language is so subject to interpretation we will in the future look for new ways of communicating to avoid this. For example, mathematics is not subject to interpretation. 2+2 equals the same to everyone regardless of personal opinion.
