Understanding Hezbollah's Involvement in Syria

Ten years after Hezbollah's 34-day war with Israel, the Iranian-backed Shiite militia is embroiled in yet another costly military campaign. On August 11th, 2016 the Institute hosted a forum to discuss the group's evolution since its deployment to Syria. The event featured Nadav Pollak and Hanin Ghaddar, moderated by David Schenker.

Nadav Pollak is a former Diane and Guilford Glazer Foundation Fellow at the Institute and author of the newly released Institute publication "The Transformation of Hezbollah by Its Involvement in Syria."
