In silico medicine will be the future
The VPH Institute (VPHi) is an open community of scientists and clinicians focused on the development and uptake of computer modeling & simulation* in healthcare.
The VPHi is not just a scientific society. We actively involve a number of stakeholders like
the European Commission, the EU Parliament, the industry and the regulators (both in the EU and USA) to make sure that in silico technology can make it to the clinic.
In silico medicine has the potential to revolutionize the future of healthcare, but neither the largest company in the world, nor the largest academic institution can make this revolution happen by itself. By being part of our global collaboration, we can make this dream come true!

*The VPH domain, identified also with the word "in silico medicine”, is the field that encompasses the use of individualized physiology-based computer simulations in all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis, prognostic assessment and treatment of a disease and development of a biomedical product.
