With BALADA, MoBlack continues this journey through a collection of tracks rooted in Afro House rhythms and Brazilian-inspired influences. Across four distinct productions, the compilation explores the meeting point between percussive energy, expressive vocals and melodic detail, highlighting artists who approach the sound from different angles while sharing a common sense of groove and atmosphere.
Opening the release, Alex Twin & Sylvio’s “Balada” sets the tone with warm Brazilian vocal elements woven into a rolling rhythmic framework. Its combination of uplifting melodies and organic percussion creates an immediate sense of movement, capturing the spirit that runs throughout the compilation.
From there, Klavivé & Matt Myer’s “Seminua” introduces a more hypnotic dimension. Built around fluid grooves and evocative vocal phrases, the track balances subtle tension and release, allowing its melodic layers to unfold naturally while maintaining a strong connection to the dancefloor.
Baran Eser, Orkun Bozdemir & Boschabba’s “Passarinho (Remix)” brings a vibrant reinterpretation that places rhythm at the center of the experience. Driven by dynamic percussion and expressive Brazilian vocal textures, the remix expands the original’s emotional character while adding fresh energy and momentum.
Closing the collection, Aycond & Mevil’s “Caranguejo” delivers a rich blend of groove, atmosphere and cultural influence. Its flowing arrangement and infectious vocal hooks provide a fitting finale, leaving the compilation on a note that feels both celebratory and deeply connected to its roots.
Together, these four tracks reflect the spirit of BALADA: a meeting point between Afro House and Brazilian musical heritage, where rhythm, voice and emotion come together through a shared vision.
