Developing 35mm Film at Home: What Could Go Wrong?
In this video I document my first time developing 35mm black and white film at home using the Patterson developing tank and ilford developer and fixer. The film stock used was Kentmere Pan 100 and I shot the film with my Canon AE-1 program on a night out with friends in York, UK. I’m really pleased with the results and hope you enjoy sharing this experience with me. If you are thinking about starting to develop your own film at home I hope you find this video encouraging. While this video is a documentation of my journey into photography and is not an educational video as such I’m sure those who are tempted to try developing film at home may find it useful. If you have experience developing film at home and would like to drop me any tips that I can use to improve my process in the comments that would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. I hope you enjoy this video, please subscribe to my channel to follow me on my journey into photography and filmmaking.
