Loud Burnham P205 Fan Center Relay How To Replace Honeywell R8222D1014

On most 80% hydronic boilers like the older Burnham Series 2 and Weil McLain CG CGa boilers you have the Honeywell R8285A1048 (or similar model number)

When the thermostat calls for heat, RH and W from the stat close terminals R and G on the fan center relay. When this happens 24 volts is sent to the relay with then takes 110 volts and sends it to the circulator. When the coil on the relay starts to wear down they often get loud.

In this video the Loud relay is replaced. Easy modification to the replacement relay - Honeywell R8222D1014
Much cheaper than replacing the entire fan center relay.
