I Bought a Canon EOS Ra.
The Canon EOS Ra is the latest astrophotography camera from the largest camera manufacturer in the world.
It currently costs $2,500 (USD) for a new EOS Ra, is it worth it?

To be honest, I wanted to purchase one before they stopped making them, and they become as rare as a 60Da.
The sensor is 4X more sensitive to the h-alpha wavelength (656nm) than a normal Canon EOS R. Through a wide-field instrument, the full-frame sensor allows you to collect massive regions of the night sky at once.
Although you may be able to find a dedicated astronomy camera with features such as cooling and gain control, a full-frame astrophotography sensor is uncommon. This camera also allows me to attach Canon's new RF lens mount lenses, for some wide-angle nightscapes including Milky Way photography.
In this video, I provide 3 tips you'll want to remember if you decide to invest in the Canon EOS Ra. I also share my thoughts on "who this camera is for".
