Pluto: The mysterious dwarf planet with a giant heart at the edge of our Solar System. #pluto

Out beyond Neptune, at the frozen edge of our Solar System, lies Pluto — a small world with a giant heart.

Once known as the ninth planet, Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet in 2006, changing how we see this distant frontier. But instead of fading into obscurity, Pluto became even more fascinating.

With temperatures dropping to around −220°C, its surface is covered in nitrogen and methane ice. Dominating that icy landscape is Tombaugh Regio, the famous heart-shaped glacier that captured the world’s imagination.

Pluto shares a unique gravitational dance with its largest moon, Charon, orbiting a point between them in a rare cosmic partnership.

🌌 Discover why Pluto continues to surprise scientists and inspire dreamers around the world.
