Homemade Dog Treats - What's For Din'? - Courtney Budzyn - Recipe 76
Homemade Dog Treats | How to make dog treats!
Today I’m showing you a fantastic recipe for non-toxic, healthy dog treats! These dog treats only contain 4 ingredients! Compare that with store bought dog treats which has a whopping 34 ingredients! Sadly, many of those ingredients are carcinogenic. BHA, for example, is a known carcinogen and has been shown to produce cancer and tumors on animals. Most dog treats use that ingredient twice as a preservative! YIKES! Another ingredient, by-product meal, (whether it be turkey, chicken or beef) is made using the remaining unused carcass of the animal. That includes bones, organs, beaks, blood, even tumors that were attached to the animal at the time, all of which goes into a dog treat. How sick?! With that being said, making your own homemade dog treats is insanely simple. The pumpkin is great for your dog’s digestion system too! So why not spend a couple of minutes making a healthy snack for your furry friend!
Thank you so much for watching!

| Ingredients |
¾ Cup Pure Pumpkin Puree
¼ Cup Creamy ALL NATURAL ORGANIC Peanut Butter
2 Large Eggs
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour, and more for rolling
| Directions |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and eggs until well combined.
Gradually mix in flour until just incorporated and starts to form a ball. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky.
Gently knead the dough 3-5 turns until it comes together.
Roll the dough out to ¼ inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
Using a cookie cutter or butter knife, cut out your desired shape and place onto the baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow to cool and enjoy!
*Treats are good for about a week in a sealed bag or container, and 2 weeks when refrigerated. However, use your better judgement. You may also freeze the treats until you are ready to use them!
