Ultimate Abs Complex | V-Ups, Lying Side V-Ups & Lying Side Knee Tucks
Welcome to KEBKO Functional Fitness! In this video, we’re taking you through an intense Abs Complex that combines V-Ups, Lying Side V-Ups, and Lying Side Knee Tucks. This workout targets all areas of your core for a comprehensive ab-strengthening session.
Workout Breakdown:
V-Ups:
Starting Position: Lie flat on your back with your arms extended overhead and your legs straight.
Movement: Engage your core and simultaneously lift your legs and upper body off the ground, reaching your hands towards your feet to form a V shape.
Return: Lower back down with control to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
Lying Side V-Ups:
Starting Position: Lie on your side with your legs extended and stacked on top of each other. Extend your bottom arm straight out on the floor for support and place your top hand behind your head.
Movement: Engage your core and lift your legs and upper body simultaneously, bringing your elbow towards your knees.
Return: Lower back down with control. Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch sides.
Lying Side Knee Tucks:
Starting Position: Lie on your side with your legs extended and stacked. Place your bottom arm extended on the floor and your top hand behind your head.
Movement: Bring your knees towards your chest while lifting your upper body to meet them, engaging your obliques.
Return: Extend your legs back out and lower your upper body with control. Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch sides.
Abs Complex Structure:
Performing the Abs Complex:
Start with 10-15 V-Ups.
Immediately transition to 10-15 Lying Side V-Ups on one side.
Switch to the other side for another 10-15 Lying Side V-Ups.
Follow up with 10-15 Lying Side Knee Tucks on one side.
Switch to the other side for another 10-15 Lying Side Knee Tucks.
Complete the Entire Complex:
Aim to perform 2-3 rounds of this abs complex, taking short breaks between rounds if needed.
