🦉🚲✨ One of the coolest wildlife photography moments of my life.

After 16 years of studying owls, I never expected to find a Barred Owl perched on someone’s bicycle deep in the forest.

With thousands of trees to choose from, she picked a bike.

For a few magical moments, it felt as though she had claimed it as her own, silently blessing it before continuing on her way. Wildlife has a way of creating moments so unexpected that they feel almost impossible.

This is why I never leave my camera at home.
