Top 5. With a career spanning almost 6 decades, Dina Jacobs has been described as a “drag legend." Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, she currently resides in Houston, Texas. As a septuagenarian, she continues to perform and entertain audiences, while advocating for the LGBTQ rights. She says while things have arguably gotten better, and drag is more visible, she also recognizes the critical time that we are in. She is firm about the need for everyone to vote, and for the LGBTQ community to support each other during these times. She emphasizes the need to “keep to your family” and make sure that the LGBTQ community is lifting each other up, not tearing each other apart.
