This Item Makes Dying Hard In Elden Ring
Elden Ring introduced this new system known as Ashes Of War. Ashes of war are essentially weapon arts you can put onto any standard weapon/shield. One of these ashes of war includes Barricade Shield. Shields in Elden Ring are quite similar to the shields in DS1, they're pretty good. Using barricade shield takes it a step further. Barricade shield basically reduces the stamina consumption when you block a hit. The stamina consumption is reduced so much that you can quite literally block as many hits as you can imagine... And since there is no chip damage on shields, it's like you are invincible.
