Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026), as global leaders gather to address pressing international challenges.

Footage shows the two top diplomats shaking hands and posing for a joint photograph ahead of their discussions. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, talks are expected to focus on key regional issues, including the Middle East and the South Caucasus.

The meeting will also cover bilateral trade and economic cooperation, along with major strategic energy projects such as the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, and the Blue Stream and TurkStream gas pipelines.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum, running from April 17 to 19 under the theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” is bringing together around 5,000 participants from more than 150 countries, including dozens of world leaders and foreign ministers.
