Setting up your 123 HP printer involves unboxing, connecting, installing drivers, and configuring it for use. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Unbox the Printer

Remove all packing materials and protective tapes.

Place the printer on a flat surface near a power source.

Check that all components (power cord, ink cartridges, user manual, etc.) are included.

Step 2: Connect to Power and Turn On

Plug the power cord into the printer and a wall outlet.

Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Select your preferred language and region on the printer’s control panel.

Step 3: Install Ink Cartridges

Open the ink cartridge access door.

Insert the cartridges into their respective slots (match the colors).

Close the access door.

Step 4: Load Paper

Slide out the input tray.

Adjust the paper guides to fit standard-size paper (e.g., A4 or Letter).

Insert plain white paper and push the tray back.

Step 5: Install Printer Software and Drivers

Go to 123.hp.com on your computer or mobile device.

Enter your printer model and download the latest drivers.

Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Step 6: Connect the Printer

Choose one of the following connection methods:

Wireless (Wi-Fi) Setup

On the printer control panel, go to Wireless Settings.

Select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard and choose your Wi-Fi network.

Enter the Wi-Fi password and connect.

On your computer, select the printer from the HP Smart app or installation software.

USB Connection (Optional)

Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

Ethernet (For Wired Network)

Connect an Ethernet cable from the printer to the router.

Complete the setup via the HP software.

Step 7: Print a Test Page

Open the HP Smart app or printer settings.

Select Print a Test Page to ensure the setup is complete.
